Rise Like The Phoenix

Rise Like The Phoenix
"Sometimes you just have to die a little inside in order to be Reborn and Rise again as a Stronger and Wiser version of You"

Life is a challenge, but a journey as well. You will face happy days, sad days and even horrible situations which will make your resolve crumble. But we have to learn from life's experiences, take a leaf out of teachings by others, experiences in life that are narrated to us by those who have gone through them and rise and shine again.

It is another Re-awakening for you! As is so rightly said in the picture above and I reiterate - "Sometimes you just have to die a little inside in order to be Reborn and Rise again as a Stronger and Wiser version ofYou"

A classical example of this Rebirth is the Phoenix (in classical mythology) a unique bird that lived for five or six centuries in the Arabian desert, after this time burning itself on a funeral pyre and rising from the ashes with renewed youth to live through another cycle.

A rising Phoenix is a symbol of virtue and grace, a representation of Resurrection and victory. To many a Phoenix is a representation of a new beginning, that no matter how bad (hot) things may get , you will get back on your feet (rise out of the ashes). The Phoenix always rises from its own ashes. It can be a metaphor for picking yourself up when you are down.

As the legend goes, when the Phoenix resurrects and rises from the flames, she is even more beautiful than before.

By going through this process of fire and ice, we become like Healers. Healers are spiritual warriors who have found the courage to defeat the darkness of their souls; Awakening and rising from the depths of their deepest fears, like the Phoenix rising from the ashes. Reborn with a wisdom and strength that creates a light that shines bright enough to help, encourage, and inspire others out of their own darkness.

The Phoenix and its rise from its ashes has a very deep undertone of serious introspection for all to do. Read this Interpretation to understand it better :
"As long as we see ourselves as a mortal being, who is born, lives and dies we will miss the power of the Phoenix mythology. However if we see ourselves as our conscious awareness, and begin to observe that awareness, we will see that our awareness never changes.

Think of awareness as a filter. We will see there are many dimensions and levels to this filter; viewing Creation through the interpretation of the human brain is only one such filter.

If we observe carefully, we will see there are an infinite number of such filters, some more important than the others, at any given moment. Yet, our awareness is capable of choosing any filter it desires, if it is indeed aware of and awake to the existence of that filter.

In the end the Phoenix mythology describes the process of changing the filter we use to experience Creation."

Remember at the outset that "To rise from the ashes like the phoenix", or to make a miraculous comeback. You will experience a personal renaissance: a triumphant recovery from a setback, be it heartbreak, illness or financial struggle. You surprise and surpass the opposition or competition. You understand the meaning of rebirth: you will never be defeated."

The Phoenix mythology teaches you a lot -
It teaches you that you have to rise above the pain -
The Phoenix mythology teaches you so much - Turn your Demons into Art, your Shadow into your Friend, your Fears into Fuel, your Mistakes into your Teachers, and your weaknesses into reasons to keep fighting. Don't waste your pain. Recycle your Heart.

Keep Going – That pain you feel? – That’s fear melting away like wax off a candle. That’s weakness washing out of your pores like a monsoon. That’s the old you being shed away like dead skin. That’s the new YOU rising out of the ashes of your former self.
The Phoenix proudly says – “You’ve seen my descent – Now watch my rising”.

Life will give us various challenges, but these challenges are meant to make us stronger. Face them, take them on as lessons and stepping stones to success, and when some of them really test all your patience, determination, integrity, and your very character, learn from the phoenix to give it your best and if need be burn and rise from those ashes.

I could continue writing endlessly but will conclude with my most powerful lines -

"Now watch me rise up and leave all the ashes you made out of me, and when you tried that, you were wrong, because - life goes on and you only helped me to be reborn - stronger and wiser".

Just yesterday I had posted a Foreword to my post "MY MIDDLE FINGER SALUTES YOU" - The post was a dare all bare all post opening up to the general people how some people who call themselves your friends can be so downright rude, mean and make your life so miserable that you live every day in dread. I would like not like to post the very hard hitting post that I was working on to be edited with some very strong words and images, but would like to express my sincere apologies to GOD first for losing my cool and, for a moment also the trust that I have always had in him. God possibly saw the pain behind my sudden burst of emotions which was totally unlike me. Here is a brief summary of my horrid journey. I do not want to justify myself to anyone as GOD alone knows what I have gone through, but this could be a lesson to many who may be going through similar situations and are cowed down by the hard hitting behavior of others that makes them stay on the back foot.

Sad to say that we make friends without realizing or even seeing through their true colors. Even hard to believe and digest when a friend of over 20 years who you thought to be your family friend, guide and mentor stabs you in the back, and treats you like an outsider or rather outcast. Over the past 4-5 years, this friend who we both had helped one another emotionally, financially in times of our most difficult times started treating me like dirt. He was abusive, threatening, maligning and even barging into my home almost running up on me. I was already going through a very bad phase, and no amount of reasoning could make him see reason. I then realized he was taking undue advantage of my soft-spoken nature and my lack of aggressiveness. If I wanted I too could have reacted in a very strong way as I was never at fault, but as he has had a By-pass surgery I was more worried for him that any untoward reaction from my side could possibly be fatal for him. There were many incidents in his own family which I had witnessed which I only knew personally but had not told him to avoid any shock to his mind. I was always forgiving and understanding, but was this what I to get in return for all this kind bigheartedness of mine?

My sudden burst of emotions yesterday came forward through the foreword of my much more intense post which was due to be posted today as I was adding all the information that had to express in that post. Possibly GOD felt the pain, and thought it better to intervene. Shockingly I received a call from this same friend yesterday afternoon almost immediately after I had posted my foreword. I was already emotionally wrecked and was expecting a barrage of abuses and threats from him, but surprisingly he was totally calm, apologetic and even almost in tears. I could not believe my eyes, when he expressed his sincere apologies for all his behavior, almost sobbing between words, and what transpired between us in those few minutes cannot be described in words. I again was more worried that he being a Heart Surgery Patient should not over strain himself and have any repercussions on his health so heard him out, and expressed my happiness and satisfaction to the fact that whatever be the miracle for him seeing reason he had the courage to talk to me and sort it out. I have never felt a sense of more satisfaction and peace of mind than when I heard his voice, and words so sincerely feel every shame and apology for all that he had done. It was truly GOD's Miracle.

At the outset, in fact the True proof will come when he is coming to visit me in the afternoon today to personally extend his apologies and patch up for a new beginning. All I can say to God is Thank you God, and sorry for having for a while lost the trust that you are always there to take care of my problems. I await eagerly with bated breath the few hours that separate that glorious moment where God's Own Miracle will prove to us all what I have always been trusting all along that " I am not smiling that I am stronger than my problems, I'm smiling because God is stronger than all my problems, and he always there behind me!
